Never Again, for Anyone by Stacy Friedman (ages 6-10)

Never Again, for Anyone is a beautiful picture book for children aged 6 to 10 about a young boy named Lev who learns about his Jewish culture and traditions from his mother Ima. Ima tells Lev about his great-grandmother Bubbie and how in order to stay safe when she was a young girl, she had to pretend not to be Jewish. Bubbie always said that they couldn’t let anyone be treated that way again. One day, Lev sees a group of people marching for Palestine outside his home. Inspired by the story about his Bubbie, Lev asks his mother if they can go outside and join the march.
