Diana wool diaper covers are a great diapering option for heavywetters or children with sensitive skin, particularly for use overnight. Wool will absorb up to 30% of its weight in liquid without feeling wet, and because it allows air to circulate, it can help prevent diaper rash.

This cover features a knit waistband and leg openings, allowing for an optimal fit that will discourage gaps (and leaks), its loose-fitting body will fit over even the bulkiest cloth diaper without causing compression wicking.

You do not need to treat your Disana wool cover before using it, it is ready-to-use.

Wool care:  You will only need to wash your wool cover approximately every 2-3 weeks, or if it becomes soiled with poop.  You will know it's time to wash your cover when it smells of urine continuously.  Put the wool cover in a sink with tepid water and a gentle soap (we recommend using Eucalan, a no-rinse lanolin wash that will deposit lanolin back into your cover everytime you washing it, reducing the frequency with which you'll need to re-lanolize your cover).  Let the cover sit in the soapy water for 15-20 minutes, drain the wool, and gently squeeze the water from the wool.  You can roll up the wool between a dry towel and sit on it to squeeze out excess moisture, then allow it to air dry for 24-48 hours.

If your cover is not performing as well as it used to, you need re-lanolize it after you wash it (re-lanolize the cover after it is completely dry).  Using your hands, simply work a pea-sized amount of lanolin into the inside of the cover, focusing on its wetzone (where your child pees).

We recommend having at least two wool covers in rotation, and rotating them so you give them a chance to dry sufficiently between use.
