Plesiosaurus 15016

These animals had extremely long necks — sometimes much longer than the rest of their bodies. Scientists thought the water resistance caused by such awkward features would make these creatures slow swimmers, despite the fact they had two sets of flippers.

These animals behaved very much like tea turtles live today. Which means they probably had to come to shore to lay their eggs.
